October 7, 2013 – Herndon, VA ACS was recently awarded a $230 million, five-year, multiple award task order contract (MATOC) for design-build, construction and renovation projects at Aberdeen and Edgewood areas of Aberdeen Proving Ground as well as various satellite off-post site locations.  Akima’s strategic partners include Whitney, Bailey, Cox & Magnani, LLC and Marshall Craft Associates, Inc. October 7, 2013 – Herndon, VA ACS on October 7 was named one of seven companies to receive a contract with total shared capacity of $200 million from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, to provide worldwide design-build and construction capabilities for Access Control Points (ACP). ACS Creates Sustainable Building for Dept. of Energy

February 1, 2013 – Savannah River Site A ribbon-cutting on February 1 at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site opened the door to the first of two new buildings the scheduled for occupancy this year as part of its modernization program.  ACS was responsible for the design, construction, and furnishing of both buildings—the 16,000 square foot Engineering Building and the 12,000 square foot Process Support Building.
